Socialroo ("this application") is a privately operated, self-hosted social media scheduling tool. It is run by a single individual for personal use and is not offered as a public service to other users.

What data this application accesses

When you connect a Facebook Page, Instagram account, or X (Twitter) account, this application accesses only the data necessary to schedule and publish posts on your behalf, such as:

• Basic account/profile information (name, ID, profile picture) needed to identify the connected account
• Access tokens issued by Facebook, Instagram, or X, used solely to publish content and read basic engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares) for posts made through this application
• The content you create within this application (text, images, videos) for the purpose of scheduling and publishing

How data is stored and used

All data is stored in a private database on infrastructure controlled solely by the operator of this application. Data is used exclusively to provide the scheduling/publishing functionality described above. No data is sold, rented, or shared with any third party, and no data is used for advertising or profiling.

Data retention and deletion

Access tokens and account data are retained only for as long as an account remains connected. You may disconnect an account at any time from within the application, which revokes and deletes its stored access token. See the Data Deletion Instructions page for how to request full removal of your data.
